Maltese Sirena Tuna Pie

- Preheat the oven to 200C.
- Boil the potatoes with their skins on, set them aside to cool. Saute the onions and garlic in extra virgin olive oil until they have caramelised.
- Tear the potatoes into a dish, roughly mash with a fork. Add the sauteed onions and garlic to the potatoes. Add tuna, tomatoes, olives, basil, parsley, salt and pepper and stir through.
- Top the pie filling with kataifi pastry. Generously brush with butter. Place the pie in the oven and cook for 45 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
