This Privacy Policy includes details of how Iconic Food Distribution Pty Ltd (referred to as Sirena, we or us) collects, stores, uses and discloses your personal information.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and comply with the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
In this Privacy Policy, “personal information” has the meaning set out in the Privacy Act. Essentially, your personal information is any information or opinion about you, or from which you are reasonably identifiable.

Sirena collects the following types of personal information where it is reasonably necessary for our business purposes:

- where you apply for employment with Sirena, information which may be contained in a resume and which may be recorded during any interview or pre-employment checking
We do not generally collect sensitive information about you. However, in certain circumstances, we may ask that you provide us with certain health information (such as when you contact our consumer information service or apply for employment with us).
You may notify us that you wish to deal with us by not identifying yourself or using a pseudonym. However, if we are not able to collect personal information about you we may not be able to provide you with the products, services, information or assistance you require.

HOW SIRENA COLLECTS PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOU

- when you contact our consumer information services via telephone or our “contact us” web page
- when you sign up to receive our newsletter or other marketing materials
- when you enter a promotion
- when you apply for employment with us and during the recruitment process

We may also collect personal information about you from publicly available sources (such as the internet) and from third parties (such as your referees provided during the recruitment process if you apply for a job with us).

We may store personal information on computer databases and/or in hard copy, and will employ reasonable commercial physical and electronic security measures to protect any records which contain your personal information.

- Your complaints are will be assessed by an appropriate person with the aim of resolving any issue in a timely and efficient manner and in accordance with the privacy legislation. If you are not satisfied with the outcome of our assessment of your complaint, you may wish to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
- If you require access to the personal information that we hold about you, we may charge a fee for providing access to this information and we may refuse access where the privacy legislation allows us to do so.
