We are pleased to inform you that the internal lacquers used in our tuna cans fully comply with the regulations set by Food Standards Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ), the US FDA, and the European Union.

Our cans are BPA-NI, meaning no BPA is intentionally added during the production process. However, because BPA is naturally present in the environment, it is not possible to guarantee absolute zero traces.

We take food safety and product quality very seriously and continuously monitor our manufacturing to ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards.

Can I heat up Sirena Meals?

Sirena Meals can be enjoyed at room temperature or hot. Simply peel away the foil lid and microwave the meal in its bowl before eating.

I found a bone, what next?

Our tuna is carefully hand-cleaned and packed to ensure the highest quality. However, as tuna is a natural product, small bones can occasionally be missed during processing. While this is rare, we understand it can be unexpected, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience.

The canning process includes a heat treatment called retorting, which softens any small bones that may remain.

These softened bones are safe to consume and can even be a natural source of calcium.

We appreciate your understanding and remain committed to delivering the best possible product.
